The Beginner golfer is an individual who has very limited or no experience playing golf. "WGANJ CLUB 18" (COMMIT TO LEARN AND UNDERSTAND THE BASICS) introduces her to the game with a 16-week program during the golf league season. The first several weeks are presented in clinics taught by LPGA teaching professionals on the golf course or driving range facility and include instruction in golf etiquette, management, and rules as well as the basics of the short game and the full swing. Course play during the balance of the season is under the leadership of a League Captain. Beginner outings of 9 or 18 holes are also offered with additional on-course instruction.
Advanced Beginner golfers, those with less than two years of playing experience, are provided a similar supportive environment through the WGANJ leagues program that provides a skills refresher clinic followed by 15 weeks of league play including a mid-season lesson by the professionals.
The Experienced Golfer should join the “FAST
TRACK TO YOUR GOLF GOALS” program that will help you lower your handicap. The program includes lessons in adding consistency to your game, reviews your equipment and includes specialty shots for your short game, putting and sand shots clinics. Additionally, WGANJ offers its member’s access to LPGA teaching professionals who can provide private and group lessons throughout the season. The common theme is to provide a supportive and friendly environment.
